RUSE RECORDS are looking to express our sound through known and unknown Producers. We are excepting demos with initial Vinyl releases followed by Digital releases. Ruse Records have also been putting on events around London with known and up and coming artists such as Calyx, Teebee, Break, Black Sun Empire, Friction, Jade, Concord Dawn, Lynx, Sabre, Artificial Intelligence, Nymfo, Robot Death Squad, Loxy, State Of Mind, Apex (Rob Unknown Error), Klute, Masheen, Khanage, Social Security, Displaced, Alley Cat, Blal, Mr Kovert, SLB, Tendai, IZM, Osmosis Beats & Felon + more. We will continue to put on these events and show case tunes from the Label.

'Tha Choice 12"' Our Sound

What we want is a 'Choice 12"' - The A side will be a neurofunky dance floor tune, imagine a fusion between a liquid and neurofunk track with metamorphic deep basslines, hypnotic, complex drums yet still dance floor oriented and the main key we're looking for is a musical melodic uplifting PROGRESSION through the tune building up to a CLIMATIC ending*. The flip will be a Heavier, darker Neuro tune again slightly hypnotic with deep, metamorphic basslines, complex drums with a musical melodic PROGRESSION as the main element through tha tune building up to a CLIMATIC ending*!!

* Climatic ending (Imagine the tune is a Building, initially it gets hit by missiles, things start to happen, Fires breakout, glass smashes, smoke pours, people are screaming and start to jump from windows, windows start to blow out, foundations start to give way, then suddenly the entire Building collapses, explodes and destroys everything).

Our Vision

We want a tune that can capture the listener, take them on a theatrical journey, something that can place them as a character in a movie, a beat that's arousing & exciting that you can't help but want to dance, laced with a 'trippy / hypnotic' foundation displacing the characters mind from the real world, gradually leading closer and closer to the aural prize, then, rewarded in fantastic fashion at a climatic finish.
